HELP THE HERD
Some of our rescue horses need to stay with us for an indefinite period of time due to injuries, adoptability, and overall health. Although they are safe from the kill pen, they still need regular specialized care to recover and sometimes to just live comfortably. Some of these expenses include vet visits and farrier trims, and of course, they eat!
Ozzie arrived nearly unable to walk and terrified of people; now he trots and canters around his pasture, nickering when he recognizes a human friend. Jack endured the terrors of the killpen and became a bully; now he enjoys a special relationship with one of our HPF volunteers, doing groundwork and trail riding. Maggie was born at the farm a year ago; her life is just beginning.
These are just a few members of the "herd," and each and every one of them holds a special place in our hearts. We hope they touch yours, too. Will you help us cover their expenses? Donate here to help the HPF herd.
A Huge Whinnying Thank You from Ozzie, Jack, Maggie and the rest of the Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue Herd!
