3rd Annual HPF Trail Ride
Join us for the Third Annual HPF Trail Ride on August 22, 2021, starting (as always) at the Tack Shack in Fremont, NH. Last year we had over 60 riders and walkers, and everyone had a fine time. Registration will open in May or June, so stay tuned!
February 3rd-13th, 2019: HPF Sweet Dreams Fundraiser
When the weather gets chilly, reach for these cozy flannel PJ pants! The Rescue has teamed up with Customink.com to create a winter fundraiser. Every pair of PJ pants you buy helps support the rescue horses at the farm. Get ’em for yourself, your mom, your sister, your daughter, your friends! Fundraiser ends on Feb. 13th.
Fall 2020: Give us your old clothes and shoes by October 10th!
Dig deep into your closets to help us meet our goal!
For our fall fundraiser, we’ve partnered with Savers, an organization that helps non-profit groups raise money by buying used clothing, shoes, and other items the charities collect for 20¢ per pound. We hope you’ll find it a great opportunity to clean out your clothes and linen closets, and donate items you no longer need.
Our goal is to deliver 150 bags of used items to Savers on October 10th. Here’s how you can help:
-
-
- Collect your clean, “gently used” clothes, shoes, linens, purses/bags, and belts.
- Put the items in one or more bags—we can take garbage bags up to 32-qt. size.
- Drop off at Hidden Pond Farm, 250 South Road, Brentwood, NH
-
If you have any questions or need more information, please call Phyllis Elliott at 603-568-6654.
April 2018: Healthy Horses, Healthy Humans
We celebrated the ASPCA’s National Help A Horse Day at the farm with a day of healthy, outdoor fun for humans and horses. People met the rescue horses, enjoyed activities in the kiddie corral, got some healthy snacks, checked out the raffle baskets, watched demonstrations, and chatted with various practitioners in equine & human massage and acupuncture, light therapy, Reiki, homeopathic medicine, animal communication and more. It was a huge success!
