Cheers for Charity Interview with HPF Founder Phyllis Elliott

In January 2024, JoAnn Burchuk and Lisa Keslar of Cheers for Charity NH interviewed Phyllis about Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue. Phyllis talks about how she got into horse rescue, the importance of educating people about options for their horses when they can no longer afford to keep them, and practical matters like the high cost of hay these days. (Hear all about the horse now living at the Rescue that was running free with a moose in Sterling, MA one summer!)

Hidden Pond Farm on WMUR-TV!

Watch HPF on Horse Rescue Heroes, Season 3

Last summer, reality show Horse Rescue Heroes came to Hidden Pond Farm to film an episode for Season 3 that’s all about us. We are psyched to announce that the series will be streaming on YouTube starting January 2nd, with HPF featured on the 4th episode on January 23rd. Watch the trailer.

Phyllis Elliott named “2022 New Hampshire Horse Person of the Year”

On March 7th, The New Hampshire Horse Council named Phyllis Marie Elliott, founder and president of Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue in Brentwood, the 2022 New Hampshire Horse Person of the Year.  In accepting her award, Phyllis was quick to credit the organization’s volunteers, donors, sponsors, and staff for its success in fulfilling its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming unwanted, neglected and/or abused equines. Congratulations and well-deserved!

2nd Annual Open House is a wrap!

The 2nd Annual Open House at the Farm on June 4th was a huge success. Beautiful weather, lots of visitors, and some great BBQ. And a whole lot of gorgeous horses too! Thanks to everyone who joined us!
