Riders may start their ride anytime between 8AM-9:30AM, and go at their own pace. The terrain will include gravel roads, a water crossing, and trails through the woods. There are two routes: a short loop (about 6 miles) and a long loop (about 12 miles).

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The deadline for registration is October 21st.
All registered participants will be provided with a light bag lunch. Registration fees are non-refundable.

All participants are required to agree to the liability waiver when they register. A parent or guardian must verify the waiver for riders under age 18.

COVID 19 Precautions

All participants should maintain appropriate social distancing.
We strongly recommend that people who have not been vaccinated for COVID wear a mask when in proximity to others. Let’s keep everyone safe!

NOTE: Riding helmets are required for children under 18, and strongly recommended for adults.

By registering for the 2nd Annual Marie Perreault Memorial Trail Ride, sponsored and organized by HPF-Rescue-Rehab-Rehome d/b/a Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue (“Hidden Pond”), I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms as they apply to myself and to any of my minor children or guardians participating in this event:

I understand that horseback riding, regardless of whether it is done indoors or outdoors in any setting, is a dangerous activity. I accept and assume all risks of injury (including death) to me or my property.

In exchange for being permitted to participate in this Trail Ride, for myself, my heirs, guardians, representatives, successors, or assigns, I release and agree not to make or bring any claim of any kind against Hidden Pond or its Board of Directors, owners, representatives, employees, volunteers, successors, assigns, or guest or any landowners, landholders, or any other persons making property available for Hidden Pond, or the New Hampshire Horse and Trail Association (NHHTA), for any injury (including death), any damage to my property whether from anyone’s negligence or not, or any other cause, arising from or out of my participation in this dangerous horseback riding and equine related activity.

Further, I agree that if anyone makes any claims because of any injury to me (including death) or for any damage to my property, I will keep all those released by this agreement free of any damages or costs because of those claims.

WARNING: Under New Hampshire law, an equine activity sponsor, an equine professional, or any other person engaged in equine activities is not liable for an injury or death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. RSA 508:19 (2010).
