Denver is a handsome chestnut Quarter Horse. He was foaled in ~2013 and stands 15hh.
Denver is not a horse for someone who wants to ride or drive, but because he is very sensitive to body pressure, we think he would excel at liberty work. He’s not for beginners! He’s very timid at first, but he has a big heart, and is just waiting for someone who’s willing to take the time to gain his trust. He’s a gentleman on the ground as long as you handle him with confidence.
Denver gets along with other horses—he’s low man in the herd and very respectful of his herdmates.
Denver is a special guy. He’s an easy keeper, and would probably benefit from some consistent body work to keep him most comfortable. He’s good for both vet and farrier as long as they are quiet with him. He doesn’t like to get on a trailer, but will get on with a patient handler. He’s very sweet, once he lets you in. A forever horse looking for his forever home.
