Whether you or your family have been thinking about getting a horse or you’ve been involved with horses for years, this seminar is an opportunity to go beyond knowing how to tend to horses’ basic needs to connect more deeply by looking at the correlation between human and horse behaviors. Understanding the significance of that cause-and-effect relationship and how to optimize it can make a huge difference in quality of life for both horses and their humans.
Mary Davis, NH State 4-H Animal Science Field Specialist, is an expert on animal wellness, with a special interest in how people’s behavior impacts their animals. She knows first-hand how education for people who love horses can improve horse well-being by leaps and bounds. In this seminar, she’ll share her perspective and expertise, including fun, interactive ways for kids to learn about connected horse care.
