HPF named Townsend Media “Year of Service” Partner
The Rescue was recently named one of Townsquare Media’s “Year of Service” partners. The annual Year of Service program is a comprehensive on-air and digital program designed to make a significant contribution to regional non-profit organizations, and has been running for over thirty years. This year, the charitable initiative will support seven non-profits—including Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue—across four Townsquare Media radio stations.
Townsquare has created a one-minute public service announcement about the Rescue that is playing on local radio stations. (With their permission, we turned it into a video. Take a look!)
HPF receives Equus Foundation award
We are thrilled to announce that the Rescue has been awarded the Guardian Seal of Transparency, awarded by the Equus Foundation annually to approved organizations, as recognition of an organization’s commitment to transparency and accountability by their willingness to make comprehensive data about their programs, horse care practices, and governance available for public scrutiny. The EQUUS Foundation is the only national animal welfare in the United States 100% dedicated to protecting America’s horses and strengthening the bond between horses and people.
