March 24, 2021: HPF on “New Hampshire Chronicle”
The New Hampshire Chronicle team from WMUR-TV visited the Rescue in early May 2019, and got to meet Phyllis, Bella, and a few of the horses. (Louise was quite curious about the camera, as you will see.) Here’s the story as it aired on May 8th, 2019 (and again on March 24, 2021).
Camp Desperado: HPF Summer Camp for Kids
It’s going to be a wonderful summer at Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue! We’re running six 5-day camp sessions at the farm, for kids 8-18, jam-packed with fun and educational activities. Learn more.
HPF named Townsend Media “Year of Service” Partner
The Rescue was recently named one of Townsquare Media’s “Year of Service” partners. The annual Year of Service program is a comprehensive on-air and digital program designed to make a significant contribution to regional non-profit organizations, and has been running for over thirty years. This year, the charitable initiative will support seven non-profits—including Hidden Pond Farm Equine Rescue—across four Townsquare Media radio stations.
Townsquare has created a one-minute public service announcement about the Rescue that is playing on local radio stations. (With their permission, we turned it into a video. Take a look!)
The 2nd Annual HPF Trail Ride is a Wrap!
September 12, 2020 was a gorgeous day, perfect for a trail ride. The trails were clear, the sky was blue, and the horses and riders were happy (and well-behaved!). Thanks to everyone who helped to make it a success—HPF volunteers, donors, and friends, the craftspeople who displayed their wares, the Tack Shack for their hospitality, and Fairway Horse Transport for their sponsorship. We’ll announce a date for next year’s ride soon!
